Harry Moody a reçu sa formation officielle d'artiste à la Frankfurt Stadel Fine Art Academy, Francfort, Allemagne. Il s'est spécialisé en peinture libre sous la direction des professeurs Johannes Schreiter, Thomas Bayrle et Josef Beuys.

En 1986, également à l'Académie Stadel, il a été initié aux œuvres et aux philosophies du professeur Gerhard Richter, alors en poste, qui a finalement profondément influencé la direction artistique dans laquelle Moody allait se lancer.

Sa carrière dans les arts comprend: marchand de beaux-arts, propriétaire de galerie, adhésion au CINOA, évaluateur, conservateur / restaurateur, participant à de nombreuses foires d'art à Maastricht, Cologne, Munich, Francfort, auteur et critique d'art pour Art-i-fact, indépendant conservateur pour le Bellvue Art Museum, Seattle, Ukai Museum, Tokyo et pour des collections privées, et était membre du conseil d'administration de la Seattle Fine Art Academy.

Tout au long de sa vie professionnelle, Harry Moody a poursuivi un dialogue sur les idéaux artistiques et la nécessité de s'exprimer artistiquement. Il a exposé au Stadel Museum de Francfort, au Landes Museum Wiesbaden, à la Untitled Gallery de Los Angeles, à la Burr Gallery, à la Burbank & Fresh Paint Art Gallery, à Culver City LA.

Harry Moody received his official training as an artist at the Frankfurt Stadel Fine Art Academy, Frankfurt, Germany. He specialized in free painting under the supervision of professors Johannes Schreiter, Thomas Bayrle and Josef Beuys.

In 1986, also at the Stadel Academy, he was introduced to the works and philosophies of then-incumbent Professor Gerhard Richter, who ultimately deeply influenced the artistic direction in which Moody would embark.

His career in the arts includes fine art dealer, gallery owner, CINOA membership, appraiser, curator / restorer, attending numerous art fairs in Maastricht, Cologne, Munich, Frankfurt, author and art critic for Art-i-fact, independent curator for the Bellvue Art Museum, Seattle, Ukai Museum, Tokyo and for private collections, and was a member of the board of trustees of the Seattle Fine Art Academy.

Throughout his professional life Harry Moody has pursued a dialogue about artistic ideals and the need to express oneself artistically. He has exhibited at the Stadel Museum in Frankfurt, the Landes Museum Wiesbaden, the Untitled Gallery in Los Angeles, the Burr Gallery, the Burbank & Fresh Paint Art Gallery, in Culver City LA.
