The sculptures in the Arborescences series serve as a powerful metaphor for life. Made from wood and fabric, they resemble the form of a tree, symbolizing both grounding and growth. These works balance the tension between rootedness and the drive to reach beyond, exploring the interplay between the visible and the unseen. Through the concept of the outer layer—viewed as a second skin or bark—the artist examines what is revealed and what remains hidden, inviting reflection on the dualities of appearance and essence, surface and depth.
