Founded in 2018 in Paris by César Levy and Linda Franco, 193 Gallery now operates across multiple spaces in Paris, Venice, and Saint-Tropez.
Born from a desire to promote artistic diversity, with a particular focus on the Global South (the Caribbean, Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia), the gallery is defined by its spirit of discovery and respect for otherness. It collaborates with artists and curators from around the world to champion a pluralistic, contemporary vision of art that goes beyond traditional Western frameworks.
193 Gallery regularly participates in international art fairs, including ARCO Madrid, Zona Maco, the Armory Show, Artissima, and India Art Fair, and actively supports its artists’ presence in exhibitions and biennials, such as Kyotographie in Japan, the Havana Biennial in Cuba, and Passengers in Transit, a collateral event of the 60th Venice Biennale.
Its multicultural team is also engaged in various research, educational, and curatorial programs.
