193 Gallery returns to Venice for the Biennale di Venezia and inaugurates a new space in the Dorsoduro district. The gallery has chosen to breathe new life into one of the city’s oldest pharmacies, with exhibitions held on two levels.

The inaugural exhibition “Melancolic Dreams” will be held for two months, starting February 2nd, with its inauguration coinciding with the famous Venice Carnival. The gallery will then host The Foundation CCA Lagos, which will take over the space from April to November 2024 to present “Passengers in transit” under the curatorship of Paula Nascimento (winner of the Golden Lion in 2013), an exhibition which will be part of The Official Program of events of the 2024 Biennale.
