Overview
The exhibition Memoria: récits d'une autre Histoire embodied the idea of a collective memory composed of a myriad of narratives, stories, questions and experiences scattered in our individual, personal, intimate memories. This idea was here revealed through the works of artists whose work refers to the reconstruction of a common whole, a universal whole, which renews our view on contemporary creation from Africa and its diasporas.

The embroidered photographs of the Ivorian Joana Choumali called for introspection and observation of nature to find comfort, strength and hope.
