MansA, the Maison des Mondes Africains, opens its doors in Paris with a free exhibition by artist Roxane Mbanga.

For its opening this Saturday, October 4, visitors can discover for free the exhibition Noires by French artist Roxane Mbanga, who has transformed part of MansA’s 800 square meters into an intimate, hybrid space where tapestries, videos, and photographs intertwine.

"The fact that a place like this exists gives hope," said the 29-year-old artist, who was born to a Cameroonian father and a Guadeloupean mother.

In an article published on October 2 in Le Monde, Liz Gomis explained: "It’s a sign that we are committed to supporting and growing alongside emerging voices."
