Kitikong Tilokwattanotai is a Thai contemporary painter and printmaker whose abstract works are based on capturing and memorizing his emotions. In his most recent series, the artist uses a pictorial technique based on successive brushstrokes, creating accumulations of the colored matter whose thickness varies. The transparency and crystallinity of the layer of lacquer that he applies will then freeze these sediments whose appearance and color will take the spectator into a state of contemplation.
