Filiation céleste is constructed from a displaced family photograph, altered through pictorial operations of coding and erasure. At its center appears a sun-like presence. This spiritual element opens a reflection on the idea of the center: what it is, and how it is chosen. Around this chosen center, forms of gathering and community emerge, structured by a presence that illuminates while remaining partially elusive. The work holds a tension between visibility and obscurity, where figures appear through light while never being fully exposed. What we gather around ultimately reflects its light back onto those who gather around it.
