11 artists under 40 (+2 exceptions) we discovered at Art Paris 2026
It is a sunny Paris that welcomes the 28th edition of Art Paris, illuminated by and warmed by the sun that enters copiously from the stained glass windows of the wonderful Grand Palais, a masterpiece of Beaux-Arts architecture built in 1900 for the Universal Exhibition and recently restored by Chatillon Architectes, which we usually show on these pages during the Chanel fashion shows.
193 Gallery dedicates the entire exhibition space to the work of the Parisian artist Ben Arpea (1989), whom we know for his recent collaborations with Acqua di Parma and Hermès and recognize for his singular artistic language, made up of geometric abstractions, uniform fields of vivid colors and material textures obtained by mixing the color with mineral elements, sand, pebbles and spreading it with the spatula.
