The series of sculptures titled Silent Guardians forms an intimate bestiary made of familiar animals, animated fruits, lunar shapes, and hybrid presences. Each sculpture appears imbued with a singular presence, at the threshold between memory, instinct, and observation of the living world.

These silent figures arise from the observation of the garden, visible from the artist’s studio. This familiar landscape is shaped by the movement of birds, the trembling of vegetal forms, shifting light, and silences. More than a backdrop, this intimate environment acts as a sensitive matrix from which the works emerge.

Created without models and far from any naturalistic approach, the forms arise from elsewhere, closer to memory and myth than to description. They carry an essential ambiguity: at once gentle and unsettling, archaic and contemporary, tender and oracular.
